Attendance
Reporting an Absence, Late, or Leave Early

Both phone and email are available to leave messages 24 hours a day. Attendance changes can be reported in advance and at any time.
Parents or guardians of students who are under 18 are expected to notify the school. Please contact the school with the following information:
• Your name and relationship to the student
• Student’s full name
• Grade
• Date(s) of Absences/Late/Leave Early
• Reason for the Absence/Late/Leave Early
Independent students (18 years or older) are permitted to notify the school of their own absences.
Student Sign-In
Students who arrive late must sign in at the main office.
Student Sign-Out
Parents/guardians of students under the age of 18 must provide verbal or written permission for the student to sign-out during instructional time. Students who need to leave early must report to the office to sign out to ensure their attendance is recorded accurately.
Attendance Expectations at the CBE
Regular and punctual attendance is foundational to student learning, academic achievement and long-term success. The CBE Administrative Regulation 6020 - Attendance of Students applies to all students, and outlines the responsibilities for students, parents and school staff.
